I have heard that there are many kidnappings in China, but that the Chinese police are making their kidnapping department better for the Olympics. If someone were to travel to China next summer before the Olympics, is there any risk? This person would be in Hong Kong for about 5 days, then Shanghai for about 2, and Beijing for about 3. This person is caucasian. Please help!

An rural area where there arent many people living there now im back so didnt got kidnapped dont worry most major citites are really safe police patrol all the time.

The last 10 years you have been to worry about would say it is understandable but if you would not have been to china the us your doubt is understandable but if you have this doubt is no safer nor more dangerous than the last 10 years you would not.
