Travel to Mongolia and China from South korea?

Right now I am in South korea and i am planning to travel to Mongolia and then to China. Does any one have any idea which route will be cheaper and convenient one?

    I think you should go to China first later Mongolia. You can arrive Hong Kong first, travelling from south China to north China. Finally, you can take train from Beijing or Hohhot to Mongolia.
